Connecting Abdominal Cancer Patients With Specialists

Some types of cancers are very difficult to treat. Cancer that has spread to the lining surfaces of the peritoneal (abdominal) cavity from primary colorectal cancer, ovarian cancer, gastric cancer, appendiceal cancer or from mesothelioma and pseudomyxoma peritonei–known as peritoneal carcinomatosis–are such cancers.

Starting from Scratch

When the folks at HipecTreatment were introduced to us they had a big problem. Their website had been essentially erased. They challenged us to get a better version up in half the time we’d normally allocate. Our team worked day and night to design and build a several hundred page website from scratch to meet the client’s deadline. The site features over 100 Surgical Oncologists and the ability to book a conversation directly with them (no referrals necessary).

Spreading the Word

The next challenge involved recapturing the traffic to the website. While we have a steady approach for organic SEO we also got in the trenches with social media platforms to spread the message to patients who might benefit from this treatment option. We love hearing about patients who found this treatment through our efforts and are successfully treated by a surgeon they connected with through this site.
